What is your favorite local restaurant?

Pappadeaux is always a great option. If you’re craving barbecue, Sonny Bryan’s is right off the corner of campus. I also enjoy everything The Pub has to offer on campus.

How did your college experience help shape who you are?

I was involved with many different interest groups on campus like my business fraternity, outreach programs and spirit organizations. I changed my major several times, but by junior year I was ready to lock in to one major. This, along with my leadership experiences on campus, helped prepare me for a career after college.

What advice do you have for students beginning their college search?

Keep your grades up all throughout high school; ninth grade is just as important as 12th grade. In fact, you will most likely apply to college in the fall of your senior year, so work hard to maintain good grades throughout your freshman, sophomore and junior years. Your junior year high school transcript and test scores are very important.
